Web series

The “Sincere Questions” web series aims to challenge Muslims to ask questions about topics that are often silenced by their leaders.
With short episodes narrated in Arabic, English and Portuguese, the project seeks to generate concern and stimulate relevant questions about controversial points of Islam, encouraging an honest dialog with the Christian faith.

Inspired by the practice of Christ, who used questions to teach and reveal truths, the series encourages the search for answers based on each viewer’s beliefs.
Developed in partnership with Lebanon’s Horizons International, “Sincere Questions” aims to open doors to conversations that are often avoided, providing an opportunity for Muslims to get to know Jesus Christ as the only Way, Truth and Life.

So far, six episodes have been produced and two more are planned for 2024, completing the first season with a total of eight episodes, each challenging the barriers of thought and promoting a frank dialog between Christians and Muslims.

Alane is a Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) speaker and works translating Light in Action’s productions into Libras. In addition to her involvement with Light in Action, Alane works professionally as an interpreter for events, institutions, and audiovisual productions. Married and a mother of two, she has a deep desire in her heart to reach the deaf community with the Gospel. Her interests include accessibility, theology, and counseling.

RUI DAMASCENO

Translation Coordinator

Rui Damasceno is Ariel’s husband and the father of Pedro Asaphe, Zoe Marrie and the newborn Ayla. They have always been active in missionary work and are now part of the Tetelestai Project team, which is translating the series into the Creole language of Guinea-Bissau in West Africa.
