What is an Unreached People Group?
An Unreached People Group is an ethnic group with less than 2% evangelical presence [1]. These peoples lack churches with autonomous local leadership who are capable of reaching their own cultures with the Gospel, [2], and normally have extremely limited contact with Christians or the Gospel, let alone easy access to evangelistic or teaching materials.

Brazil has the second largest Evangelical population in the world. [2]
This total of 400,000 missionaries includes Catholic and Protestant cross-cultural missionaries according to the research published in the World Christian Database [1] and the Atlas of Global Christianity [2]. This means that there are other missionaries within their own countries who were not taken into account in this research.
Furthermore, according to KP Yohannan [3], there are 285,000 national missionaries serving within their own countries.
